1. Services Overview
The Getaway Bar LLC provides mobile bar services for private events, including dry-hire of a Piaggio Ape tap truck and optional partner services such as balloon décor or floral arrangements.
All bookings are subject to availability, approval, and compliance with applicable local laws, including alcohol service restrictions and venue permissions.
2. Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate the rights of others or restrict their enjoyment of the site.
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
- Use automated systems to collect data or contact us without consent

3. Quotes, Bookings, and Payment
a. Quotes and Availability
Submitting a request or quote form does not guarantee availability. Dates are secured only upon receipt of a signed agreement and/or deposit.
b. Deposits and Payment Terms
Deposits (if required) are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Full payment must be received by the date specified in your service agreement or invoice. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your booking.
c. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies vary by event and will be detailed in your service agreement. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued based on the timing and nature of the cancellation.
4. Alcohol Service
The Getaway Bar LLC operates primarily as a dry-hire mobile bar, meaning we do not sell or provide alcohol directly.
Clients are responsible for:
- Procuring their own alcohol (if applicable)
- Ensuring all alcohol service complies with state and local regulations
- Securing any required event permits or licenses
We reserve the right to refuse service or participation in any event that violates local laws or presents safety concerns.
5. Client Responsibilities
By booking our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate event details and communicate any changes promptly
- Ensure the event location is suitable and accessible for the vehicle and equipment
- Obtain necessary venue permissions, parking, and loading access
- Maintain a safe environment for our staff and equipment
- Refrain from misuse or damage to The Getaway Bar vehicle or property
The client is responsible for any damage caused by guests or event participants to our property or equipment.
6. Liability
We take every precaution to ensure your event runs smoothly, but The Getaway Bar LLC is not liable for:
- Injuries, damages, or losses resulting from alcohol consumption
- Delays or cancellations caused by severe weather, road closures, or events beyond our control
- Loss of personal property or venue damage unrelated to our actions
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for those services.
7. Insurance
The Getaway Bar LLC maintains general liability and property insurance appropriate for our operations. Clients are encouraged to verify that their venue or event insurance covers third-party vendors.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on thegetawaybar.com — including logos, images, text, and designs — is the property of The Getaway Bar LLC and may not be used or reproduced without written consent.
9. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and protect your information in compliance with Massachusetts law.
10. Third-Party Services
We may partner with trusted vendors (e.g., balloon decorators or florists) to provide add-on services. While we coordinate these offerings, each partner is an independent business responsible for its own performance, policies, and liabilities.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal court located in Massachusetts.

14. Service Agreement Addendum
Each event or booking with The Getaway Bar LLC is subject to its own signed Service Agreement. That agreement outlines event-specific terms such as pricing, deposit schedules, cancellation and rescheduling policies, damage responsibilities, and insurance requirements.
In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement shall control for that particular booking.
